Happy bat, happy vet!

This little Black Flying fox degloved one of his toes when he was caught on barbed wire. The only option was to amputate. Barbed wire is one of the most common reason why Flying Foxes come into care and it would be so easy to bunt the fences and have next to no victims.

One day after surgery he is already hanging again and happily eating grapes. Hopefully he will be ready in time for release.
