And we were featured in the NT news with our turtle shell repair.
This Northern long-necked turtle (Chelodina rugosa) was hit by a car somewhere in Darwin’s northern suburbs. Our volunteer veterinarian Dr. Stephen Cutter repaired the shell with wires and screws. The turtle is now in rehab with one of our experienced turtle carers and we expect it to make a full recovery in a couple of month.
